About the League of Women Voters of Howard County MD

PROTECT OUR VOTE!                              PROTECT OUR VOTE!

As much as we hope that Covid-19 will not be a factor by the General Election, there is no way of knowing that for sure. NO ONE should have to choose between being safe and going out to vote. Vote by mail gives everyone an option.

Grab your crayons (or markers), some paper, make a sign saying "Protect Our Vote" and join the League of Women Voters and Protect Our Vote for a virtual rally in support of Vote By Mail in Maryland in November.

Date: Friday, June 12, 2020
Time: 8pm -9pm

Speakers: Senator Guy Guzzone, Senator Clarence Lam, and Delegate Terri Hill

RSVP TO VIRTUAL RALLY TO: lwvhowardcounty@gmail.com

VOTE411.org is a "one-stop-shop" for election related information. It provides personalized, nonpartisan information to the public with both general and state-specific information.

The League of Women Voters of Howard County is committed to improving local government by making the processes of decision making more transparent, and including more options for community engagement.

We work to maintain a system in which the community is well informed and their voices well heard before a decision is made.

We advocate on a number of topics covering land use and zoning, social issues, and government processes so that we can preserve what makes Howard County special, and move forward in a way that maintains our unique personality.

The League is open to anyone 18 or older and is a great way to get involved in your community. We’d love new members at all levels of involvement: Board Directors, Committee Members, People to help plan events, or to help advertise and promote the work we’re doing. Get involved today!
