Upcoming Events for November/December 2020

Sunday,  November 1, 2020 at 1:00 pm, Old Ellicott City

Parade to celebrate and remember the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment and the women who fought for the right to vote. 

Please join the Howard County Historical Society, the Maryland Women's Heritage Center, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the League of Women Voters in a parade to honor the memory of the Suffragists who fought and sacrificed so we could have the right to vote in our elections. 

When: Sunday, November 1st, 12:30 - 3:30 pm. Parade starts at 1:00 pm. 

Where: Museum of Howard County History, 8328 Court Avenue, Old Ellicott City, 

What: Parade from the Historical Society Museum to the B&O Railroad Station for pictures and the Lil French Market Courtyard Stage in Lot D for the Presentation of the Historical Speakers' Program. 

Former County Executive and Delegate Liz Bobo, the honorary spokeswoman for the Year of the Howard County Woman, will be a featured guest speaker. 

Dress: Wear White, wear sashes and hats!
