Redistricting Update:
The Maryland General Assembly will meet for a special session in Annapolis on December 6th to draft and approve Congressional district maps as the legislative redistricting process continues.
Once they reconvene in 2022, legislative districts for the State Senate and House of Delegates will also be drafted, debated, and approved.

If you would like to provide feedback on the redistricting process or proposed maps,
Howard County’s second meeting will be hosted at HCC’s Monteabaro Recital Hall (10901 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia, MD 21044) from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM on November 10th.
All Maryland residents can also provide feedback during the next statewide virtual meeting by following the link here. https://redistricting.maryland.gov/Pages/default.aspx

The Maryland Code requires both the Governor and the legislature to take “communities of interest” into account when drawing maps, so your participation is a critical piece of this process. The more feedback provided, the better we can ultimately establish our place in Maryland’s complex political geography! If you run into any technical difficulties, please do not hesitate to email my office.
