Legislative Kick-off Offered by LWVMD, Howard County
On Saturday, January 5, 2019, the League of Women Voters of Howard County will hold its annual Howard County Delegation Legislative Kick-off. The event will take place at a new location, St. John’s Episcopal Church, 9120 Frederick Road, Ellicott City, MD 21042, with brunch starting promptly at 10:30 a.m. The Senators and Delegates who make up our local delegation will discuss the League of Women Voters of Maryland’s 2019 Legislative Priorities. After opening remarks by the delegation have concluded, League members and guests will have the opportunity to ask questions of the delegation. Join us at this event held to help the citizens of Howard County learn more about our legislators’ priorities for the 2019 General Assembly.
The cost to attend is $10, but there is no cost for anyone who brings a dish that will serve 8 people. Food assignments are based on the first letter of your last name, and are as follows: A - F: Breads, muffins, pastries G - N: Main Dishes O - Z: Fruit or salad
The meeting will be in All Saints Hall, in the St. John’s Parish Day School building at the front of the campus. Parking is located by the school, with additional parking in the church lot behind the school building.
