If you have you been reading and watching the news lately you know that immigration enforcement has become a very controversial topic in our country. But did you know that over 20% of Howard County residents are immigrants? 

Everyone in our community is potentially affected by the manner in which immigration laws are enforced. 

We're excited to host Gabriel Moreno, CEO of Luminus, to speak about Immigration law and Constitutional civil rights, as they impact immigrants and their families, their neighbors, and the volunteers and staff of businesses, churches, schools, hospitals, and organizations that serve them. Mr. Moreno will be speaking on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 7:00 pm in the Warfield Room of the Central Branch Library.
