Join fellow League members at the annual 74th Howard County Fair's Annual Fireman's Grand Opening Parade! It starts at 2pm on Sunday, August 4th.
This is the shortest parade ever, which is fine as it will be August and no doubt hot. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the LWV, the 19th Amendment, and our very own 75th anniversary, I invite you to dress in white and bring something like a poster. We will be led by our banner, of course! Find our banner at the southeast corner of the property at 1:30pm.
Friends and family are invited to join and there is plenty of time to enjoy the Fair (it's open 8am-11pm), but you do need to pay $7 to get in - seniors are $3. Click here for more information about the Fair. Please put it into your calendar now.
