Why do you vote?

The Howard County League of Women Voters is running a "Why I Vote" Social Media Campaign and we hope you can participate.

If you'd like to be featured, please send us an email with your information and reply "YES" to give us permission to use your information.

Include 3 things in your email:

1. a "selfie"
2. a caption/title for yourself
3. a sentence or two explaining why you vote

We will format the information into a consistent layout - just like the images seen above and below.  We plan to use these during the primary and general election to encourage people to vote.

Answer "Yes" to grant Permission

I am at least eighteen years of age. 

I grant permission to the League of Women Voters of Howard County to use the image and words I provided as part of the "Why I Vote" Social Media Campaign. 

I waive any right to royalties or other compensation related to the use of the image and I acknowledge that I will not receive any further notice of any use of the image and words or the opportunity to inspect or approve any use.

I agree to release the League and any of its agents, employees, or licensees, from any and all claims or liabilities (including but not limited to invasion of privacy, right of publicity, misappropriation, or defamation) based on any use, distribution, or publication of the image and words provided by me, and agree not to sue the League for any use, distribution, or publication of the images and words.

I have read this release, and I fully understand the contents, meaning, and impact of this release. I understand that I am free to address any specific questions regarding this release prior to agreeing, and I agree that my failure to do so will be interpreted as a free and knowledgeable acceptance of the terms of this release.
